Basically it is a website that you sign up to and then shop online with your normal retailers. The club will then receive a small percentage of any purchases you make. For proof that it works, so far I have raised £9.25 for the club by using the site to direct me to Amazon and eBay. If we raise over £15.00 per quarter we will receive a cheque for that amount.

So in summary, this site is completely free to register with, your purchases want cost you any more, it doesn’t cost the club anything and it is the easy to use. Loads of rowing clubs are using this site across the country to raise thousands of pounds for their clubs. All you have to do is once you have registered save it to your favorites, so you can use it quick and easy in the future. Many other Bexhill sports clubs are using the site too.

As you may have read in the local press by the end of September 2010 Our Existing Boat house and out dated not fit for purpose training and shower facilities will be knocked down in preparation for the new boat house, as part of the Bexhill Seafront redevelopment scheme.

Although we are more than happy to be getting a new building it has been estimated that around £70,000 will be needed to be raised to fit out the interior of the new building.

The Rowing Club is therefore desperately relying on donations and sponsorship to meet this figure.

Please if anyone wants to sponsor us from anything from a few nuts and bolts to supplying and fitting of showers, from a light bulb to complete shelving for our boats and equipment, then please, contact us and we will explain to the letter what your cash will be used for. We are also looking to advertise our sponsors on our rowing club clothing and trailer/ boats, how good would your logo/name look being associated with the most successfull club in town?.

This club is a fine representative of our great town BEXHILL. This season we have had a lot of under 16 's of both sexes joining us for training on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. We do not want to lose their keenness by not having facilities next season. Once again please help.

Last year 4 of our members won the Indian Ocean Race which put Bexhill in the public eye for all the right reasons, this goes to show how important it is to keep BEXHIIL ROWING CLUB in tip top condition a new fitted and kitted out  boat house will help ensure the future for not only our existing rowers but the next and next generations to come. Who knows what feats these guys and girls will achieve for BEXHILL?
